Its still a bad game, and thats not the only one, I enjoyed silver, but then all the games where the same just with more pokemon, locations and a little better graphics.I know cuz I have a friend that buys everything with pokemon, the wii ones and the DS ones. I mean, it was great on the gameboy, but you can do a much better game in the wii and the DS.

Its a good idea, and with it you could make a great game and a great anime, but both are mediocre in my view, even the digimon world games in the ps1 where better and changed gameplay when the hardware got better, as the 1 season of the anime is better than the pokemon anime.

No mention of Fallout 1 or 2 but Fallout 3 scores higher than every game I listed in the previous sentence?

First, someone really needs to tell the guys that Zelda's not an RPG

Now, the list isn't completely bad, there are excellent games mentioned (FFVII, Persona 3, Suikoden 3 -though if I had to pick a single Suiko it wouldn't be #3, Kingdom Hearts) but there are a couple of omissions and a couple of games that shouldn't be there (Mass Effect, and who puts Diamond/Pearl over Gold/Silver????), and the list has an unhealthy tendence to put too many WRPGs.
At least #1, while I don't fully agree, it's a game I'd put very high in my list

If Mass Effect deserves to be there, it's near the bottom of the list. I loved the game but there are many RPGs out there that are better. Most of the WRPGs they put there are good/great, they just got the order completely buggered.

On top of that, they put quite a few games that really aren't RPGs...

Whats the site about? anyway, I read some of the things in the first page and they look interesting, but I think its nothing that couldnt be done in a patch, the core gameplay on the games hasnt changed a bit in all these years, and it should considering, like I said before, the differences in the hardware that couldve been used to make a much better game.

List sucks. There are too many non rpg. narritive combat trains that call them selves rpgs. While some of the best RPG aren't even in the list.

I don't know how this person rates their RPG, but it doesn't seem to be based on anything outside of what they have personally played. The style of rpg is all over the board.

Diablo and Baldurs Gate, but no Fallout 1,2. Diablo isn't even an RPG.

This list is epic fail for do not having FFX.

The gameplay has changed quite a bit.  Natures, Abilities, IV values, EV values, new and more competitive moves, held items, and the separation of special and physical attack among types.. Blue and Red could be summed up an exchange of powerful moves til all of the Pokemon on one team is knocked out.  Diamond and Pearl has achieved great balance in the game and a much deeper competitive mechanic that probably can't be realized by a child playing the game.  Smogon.com has pretty much turned the battling of Pokemon into a science and I doubt a mediorce game is worth doing so.
