It's fine.

No different than the incremental update approach the PS3 has undergone over the last two years and that's been working out pretty well. Two years later, owners have a system with much greater functionality than before, with constant improvements still being made.

As long as the new functions work the way they're supposed to and patches are quickly made available when needed, this is not a problem.

Yeah i think it would be great...they might as well start getting the Zune to ride the 360's coat tails.  Maybe even bundle it with Lips or something i bet the markup is insane on them and they could afford a $140 version of lips with a 4gig Zune.  But i think it would be really cool and convienient; the ability to stream movies and download music to be played right on your own home theatre system at the tap of a button sounds cool.  I like where this is going.

yes, because no other console ever gets updates that add new functionality as it becomes ready ...... oh wait the ps3 does too, well damn i guess they should of held off releasing it till the firm ware features set was complete for this generation 

That seems like a damn fine idea you have there.  I would love to be able to get podcasts and such and listen to them whilst gaming.

ya know since the xbox does support the ipod, id like to see apple push a version of itunes for the xbox, i know it might eat into home sales, but it would really push the video store they are trying to build up. thats my 2 cents anyway
