Its a renter for me, the stinker that was R1 ensured that. After the rent maybe a purchase.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

The game is great but they need to fix Hale's health. He takes about 2-4 shots before you need to hide behind a wall. This games easy falls somewhere between Normal and Heroic in CoD4. They should of made some easy mode like they have in Halo, where you are god laying the beat down on the enemies.

To be fair, the PC version of Half-life 2 is really the only way to go.

Not to mention the ps3 version specifically is a buggy port of the 360 version.

Half life 2 is Half life 2 which ever platform it is. And didnt they patch the ps3 version so it wasnt as bad as the 360 version?

It doesnt matter what shooter it is it just doesnt compete with half life 2 , no offence to the tc

I'm finding the game to be great, much like you, however, I'm very disappointed in the removal of local campaign co-op. It's my favourite part of any shooter (including the original Resistance) and it really prevents it from being one of my top shooters. COD4 lacked this feature as well, and I ended up selling it.

I am by no means disappointed with my purchase, but just have the feeling that it's missing that extra feature to make it one of my favourites. Valkyria Chronicles on the other hand has vastly surpassed all of my expections. Fantastic game.

If there is a way to play local campaign co-op and I just haven't figured it out, I'd love to hear it.

R2 along with little big planet and Valkyrie chronicles are on the top of my must buy list...now I just need to scrounge up the money lol :( I knew I shouldn't have picked paying for college over my ps3.

I didn't like the first game, but the beta was pretty fun especially the co-op mode. Getting mine tomorrow or in the weekend maybe.

Well yea Half life 2 runs better than bioshock does on the PS3(and looks better than bioshock does on the ps3.. no lie) its an amazing game, but dude R2 is great as well, they are both very good quality titles.

Im just making this thread to make sure ps3 owners are going to buy R2, its a game that needs not to be missed.

Can't get this game till the 28th anyway... So i'll see how much time KZ2 beta, LBP, Gears of War 2, Left 4 Dead take up. May only end up renting it and playing through the campaign, the game I really want to own is KZ2. Probably just rent Gears 2 at first, our little local multiplayer play groups broken up so no point owning it unless it reforms.
