Forums - General - And she was almost our VP ...

Lol @ the person who said that Palin's approval rating was in the 80's and 90's. You just wake up from a cryogenic freeze right after the Republican National Convention ended or what?

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

The thing is, all liberals bitch about how republicans are mostly ignorant, and how choose crappy candidates. And they like to try and use evidence to support their ideals. What they do not take into account is the other side of the story. The same is true with republicans.
This forum thread is ripe with ignorance.

Obama will be president, nothing you can do about that, unless you can prove he is the anti-Christ you might as well give him a chance before you start becoming all scared and depressed.

I didn't want either candidate to be president, I dislike both. I do really feel bad for McCain though, he is old and this was probably his last hurrah for a man that probably did deserve it, but he entered the presidential race at an unfortunate time when he had to make some unsettling decisions, and people were afraid he would crush their hopes just as bush had. I also felt this fear. Who knows though, maybe, hopefully, it was all for the best.

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

Obligatory dick measuring Gaming Laptop Specs: Sager NP8270-GTX: 17.3" FULL HD (1920X1080) LED Matte LC, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M, Intel Core i7-4700MQ, 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3, 750GB SATA II 3GB/s 7,200 RPM Hard Drive

I think that Palin AK rating is now in the 60s...

Most of the dems who liked her stopped, during the partison election.

Oh and I know this has been stated before on this site, but stop posting stuff from HuffingtonPost.com, they are as far LEFT as Rush Limbaugh/Michael Savage are RIGHT.

Actually this was from Fox News.

@Madskillz

I know the story is from FoxNews, read your post again, YOU use huffingtonpost as the source and as the source for the bathrobe story. Just try to not show complete bias in your posts.

So all the right-wing media is now busy nailin paylin?

Who would have thought.

The primary source, the video, is from FoxNews.  The secondary source shows Madskillz bias but has no impact on how close we came to having a seriously deficient Vice President.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

It's truly frightening how close this woman got to the white house.... even if none of this is true, I (and many others, it seems) lost a lot of respect for John McCain when he picked her.

And the Huffington Post's source in that article was Newsweek.

Dude, you have no defense. She is the mayor of Lametown, population the Wasilla Hillbillies.

So what I used huffingtonpost. As Ghost and other point out, they didn't make this crap up. The original sources are Newsweek and FOX. Slice it up and package it nicely as you want, but the sources don't lie.

My son is 5 and knows more than her - I guess homie should run for VP.

I am really debating if she's as smart as Baby Trig - and that joker has Down's.
