Oh I very much believe that this will be the definitive version just like FFVI Advance is the definitive version of FFVI but I just can't justify putting down $40 on it when there are games I don't already have two copies that I want.

Oh, it's almost as good as FFVI.  My top 3 games (FFVI, Tetris, and Chrono Trigger) are all very close and I had to think a long time to properly order them.

Yes, I fully understand this conundrum.  I find myself with depressingly little time to play non-portable games these days, and as such I have played probably a hundred hours of Final Fantasy IV in the past few months (and am playing it still).  Portable Chrono Trigger will probably keep me occupied until a FFVI remake appears...

Ah, one of the best games of all times. And im glad there will be quite a few who play this for the first time on the DS.Trust me, its everything you expect it to be and more.
