after i learned enough about a game to decide to purchase...i tend to avoid more news on it exactly for that reason.

Yes almost, the only part that did not blow me away was the sheer awesomeness that game contained. That much I already knew from the Parasite Eve demo CD. I believe it was on that games demo disc.

It's the curse of gaming sites like Vgchartz. After coming here once you feel the need to come back again and again.

Sometimes, I get so bored that I wander into Wii threads just to see what's going on.

In doing so I learn almost everything about upcoming games; what all the reviewers wrote, videos etc.

I'm not sure if it's taken away from the experience of playing a game. (I might try that out though, pick one future game and force myself not to look at anything related to it) but it has stopped me from purchasing any bad games.

I believe we should all just leave the internetz. We would be much happier gamers.
