Forums - General - Brandon Crisp found dead :(

Police believe that they have found the body of 15-year-old Brandon Crisp; Missing since thanksgiving.

Brandon went missing on the 13th of October after getting into an argument with his parents about how much time he spent playing his 360. This pains me because of how extremely close to home it is.  His body was discovered today within kilometres of his central Ontario home.

I don't feel sorry for this kid or his parents. How the hell can you skip and fail school and cut sleep, just to play Cod4?

Cod4 shouldnt be blamed for this. The parents shouldnt be letting their kid play an M rated game, and that makes me think that the parents ignored this addiction and didnt pay any attention to him.

If it really was addiction (which i doubt and am pretty sure this was rooted alot deeper than just a video game), the parents either did not keep an eye of how much time their kid was spending on video games or ignored it completely.

remember the human element. We all make mistakes and sometimes think irrationally. The loss of life should always be respected.

Ok I take back the first comment and its sad that he died, but I still blame the parents. I'm 15 and the only games I play are shooting games. You don't see me going out buying a gun or skipping school to play games because my parents make sure I act responsibly to these games. Yes we all make mistakes but the parents should have seen this coming.

Damn, 2 threads about someone dead this day, R.I.P. ;(

As sad as I feel for the parents, the fact that the kid is an idiot and should respect his parents still stands. The fact his parents are even bigger idiots that they didn't teach him those values from early on still stands. Maybe good can come of this if the word spreads and other little fucks like him see what happens when you leave your parents.

Uncalled for. You should never want that suffering on anyone, especially parents who have just lost their child.

I lost my best friend two years ago and I was around his parents a lot. It's the worst thing any parent can go through.
