I think a lot of people are not giving MONOLITH enough credit, but they are definetly a AAA developer if you look at the games they've made:

Blood, Shogo, No One Lives Forever, Alien vs Predator 2 (Scariest game of all time), NOLF2, Condemned, and Tron 2.0. All good games, they did however slip up with Matrix Onlinethough. FEAR was just plain awesome though.

FEAR ALMA AGAIN it says. Well, maybe I'll have to be scared of her to begin with if that's to apply. The first one was a decent shooter but the "horror" elements were mostly pathetic cliches, you were never in danger of this girl (or anyone else for that matter) so why be scared? How can this dev be responsible for, arguably, the scariest game of all time (Condemned) and then fail completely with FEAR?
I don't get it.
I'll give this a try when it comes out since I'm a huge FPS fan but I certainly won't buy it if its anything like the prequel!

You were definetly in a lot of danger from Alma at the very end when you find out the entire story and all the illusions come together in one place.

I was in Danger from Alma when I first came across her.
I got killed a couple of times in that scene
maybe I just suck at shooters :(

FEAR was awesome. This is a must by/1st day preorder/who do I have to give a handjob to get this...type of game for me.

A lot of people played FEAR in 2006/2007 on ps360 and by then it was somewhat dated visually. When it came out on PC almost 4 years ago... It was one of the best looking games around, on par with HL2. Gameplay however still rocks to this date...So as long as FEAR 2 boosts the visuals and tweeks the gameplay, I am happy with my handjob purchase.

And yeah, Monolith is awesome. Blood for the win...
