So Red Steel was your first game on the Wii? BTW will you also buy COD: WAW not next week if you're asking that

Atleast Wii owners dont believe in reviews of gaming sites and mags right away, its really a good thing theres internet and messgeboards to come by if you're in doubt of what to buy or not

Let's see, Zelda, Red Steel, Elebits and Marvel Ultimate Alliance were my sons first games yes.  MY first game on Wii (and first console game since BC's Quest for Tires on Colecovision) was Tiger Woods '07.

I think most Wii owners don't even look at reviews although the more experienced gamers do.

Do you really read reviews because Marvel utimate Alliance have bad or mediocre reviews on the Wii, I dont know why though I want to buy it before sadly its not available anymore

end of core gaming days prediction:

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced

E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

E3 2010- Tape runs out

There were no reviews.  Basically they were all purchased first day.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance was okay.  The gameplay is repetitive - just too much button mashing for my tastes (or in Wii's case, button mashing and wrist straining waggling).  Some of the motions are nice like tossing Captain America's shield or Spidey's webs but there's just too much all the time.  No better or worse than any other version though.

BC's Quest for Tires was a game based on the BC comic strip which was popular at the time. The comic strip and game are both hilarious.

So you really still read/watch reviews? Sure, Marvel utimate Alliance wasnt that good but its not what reviewers say THAT BAD either.

It was an old school platformer and yes, I'm in my mid 30's and am already going senile.
