Forums - Nintendo - Quamtum of Solace Scores 4.5 on IGN

spdk1's review is much more honest than that one. This games being bashed due to the fact that it doesn't look as good as the other systems. Imagine that. It controls well which is why you'd buy it for the Wii, right?

Sorry, but why would you buy a game in full price anyway? If you actually buy Gears of War in full price then good for you enjoy a 6 hour game. Of course you'll buy it for online but why for if there are other online games wether free like the one advertised here on this site or in retail like Counter strike or the original Halo.

I'm with you there yushire.  I very rarely pay $50-60 for a game.  When I do I expect to be entertained for at least 30 hours.  But in regards to QoS the only reason I care is because it's one of only 2 Wii games with splitscreen FPS gameplay.  The other being Red Steel which my son and I already played to death and sold.

BTW did you bought Red Steel just asking, I only bought MOH: H2 because its budget price never bought Red Steel is the splitscreen really that good? Sadly no one sell Red Steel here maybe if Im lucky...

I think they dont even play the game, I think they review it by their first impressions with screenshots and videos on youtube. I mean why would they say a thing about the graphics after the first stage? The first stage was gorgeous even the direct feed one.

Split screen in QoS is better than Red Steel. There was one other split screen shooter fo the Wii. The legendary Far Cry: Vengeance. Only 2 players though. LMAO

Did anybody really expect anything different? Honestly?

@ yushire - The splitscreen is good enough and we had lots of fun with it but you can only play in the same 4 environments so many times. The story in Red Steel is enjoyable as well. The aiming is sluggish compared to other games but you quickly get used to it. My only real grevience was the sword play. It's fun at first but once your a few hours in the bosses are tough and the controls just aren't up to par so it becomes a frustrating experience.

It's certainly worth the $20 it retails for now. You might find it used somewhere.

AH OK thanks I definitely buy it if I could find one, BTW, how much do you pay for Red Steel though? Just thinking

My son got a Wii for his birthday which lucky for him was the week after Wii's launch.  I don't remember if I got him Red Steel of someone else but it was a birthday gift bought at full price.  We got our money's worth out of it, no regrets.

Next review thread, could you say what it's out of in the thread title please

4.5/5 is good
4.5/10 is bad
4.5/100% is worse

So Red Steel was your first game on the Wii? BTW will you also buy COD: WAW not next week if you're asking that

Atleast Wii owners dont believe in reviews of gaming sites and mags right away, its really a good thing theres internet and messgeboards to come by if you're in doubt of what to buy or not
