I usually go to Toys R Us first.

Just to support them since they're in trouble... I have some awesome memories as a kid making the rounds and picking stuff out I wanted on my x-mas list.

lol I know what you mean. One of my favorite memories is going into toys r us frantically looking for pokemon red. Finaly finding the aisle that it was in I started to make my way towards the game (where they kept the paper slips) when I see a parent hastly moving towards me from the other end of the aisle her eyes firmly on the last slip. Thats when I decide to bust a move and sprinted full speed diving and snatching the last slip right before she reached it. That game was harder to find than a damn wii at the height of its popularity. Oh and I still have the game :)

Walmart sucks, I dont buy from them ever. I usually get my games from my local Play N Trade and if necessary Gamestop. I will occasionally get somethign from Target cause there clearence is amazing.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

never bought a game at walmart in my life. Walmart is for DVD and junk good. (and shampoo), i wouldn't trust anything else there.

I understand if people don't like Wal-Mart but I don't get your last statement as t relates to video games. They're the same games you could buy as anywhere else. There's no real reason a game is less likely to work than anywhere else. And if you think about it, it could be more likely because the game hasn't been handled numerous times by customers who may have dropped the game or whatever. And worse case scenario, if the game didn't work, you could always return it.

Although personally, I do like being able to grab the game and look at the back and read the info, etc. I hate that at both Wal-Mart and Target, I have to assistance from someone and they stand over you while you do look at it because they have to lock up the glass case again. I will buy from them though if they have a game cheap. I try to get the best deal and wherever that is, I'll try to buy it there. If a game is the same price everywhere, then I always try to buy at Best Buy because of the Reward Zone and I just like their store better and really appreciate how they operate for the most part. Compare that to other stores and they're often a mess. Look at Circuit City for a great example. I hate having to settle for them to buy movies and games. I think a lot of people feel the same way seeing as how Circuit City is always in financial trouble and it was just reported that they're closing over 100 stores nationwide.

I'll come up with something better eventually...

I don't know anyone who gets games FIRST from WalMart. So many other (and better) choices.

I usually get my games at best buy but a bunch of my friends have pre-ordered gow2 at a nearby gamestop and I'm considering buying the game there too in order to go to the midnight launch with them.

So does no one know if ioi uses walmart in his data?

although that was a big blow to hd dvd I think it still could have struggled on for a few months, maybe even a year. However when Walmart decided to throw in the towel they completely shut down HD DVD.

This would support my theory that NPD is off this generation because it does not get Wal-Mart data.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.
