Forums - General - What movies are you ashamed of owning?

Mission Impossible 2, but I was only ashamed of it for about one hour, then I couldn't stand it anymore, took it out of the DVD player, threw it away and everything returned to normal. What a relieve.

I also own that movie it and a half dozen others could have easily made my list also.  MI2 at least had some decent special effects but besides that its pretty bad and the plot made on sense and was confusing.  But who needs a plot when you have a $125 million dollar budget to waist on over the top special effects LOL.

Not to mention that John Woo completely missed the point of Mission: Impossible.

I mean... C'MON. If he wanted to make a pointless action movie, there are a dozen franchises to do so with. Don't fuck up one of the great action/espionage franchises because you feel like it, you twat.

more than Note Book?

Spiderman-3 on blue-ray.

Am I the only one who liked Spider-Man 3? I mean it wasn't perfect, but I love Sam Raimi and I thought the movie had a great sense of humor. Very over the top, but all in an intentional way.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

The only low-quality movies that I own have been gifts. The only movie I own that I am truly ashamed of...a movie I deplore..."My Big Fat Greek Wedding."

This is the only movie i ever walked out of at the cinema, so you have my sympathies.

I liked Spider-Man 3 but I didn't love it. Spider-Man 2 is just so much better. Dr. Octopus is my favorite Spiderman vilain and he comes out so great in the film.

Signature goes here!

I own a few-
Son of the Mask: I don't need to comment on this...
Elektra: Daredevil wasn't THAT bad IMO... This is.
George of the Jungle 2: I liked the first one but this... blech...
Batman & Robin: ...
Pokemon 1-4: I loved these movies as a kid, but now... I'm just too old I guess.
Mewtwo's Return: See above. ^^^
