And how exactly are they biased towards Wii's offerings?

I found Super Mario Galaxy and Twilight Princess to be amoung the most grossly overrated games I have played in my entire life. Although I found GTA4 and Halo 3 to be even worse so maybe there's no bias at all, maybe just low standards.

Okami,Wieftiful Joe: unique art-style that isn't popular with a lot of gamers

Bioshock (ps3): Do you really expect people to buy a year old port when there are other great games coming out for PS3 in this month?

Ninja Gaiden's: Sold just fine, would easily be a million seller if it were a multiplatform.

Nhl 09: Who the hell plays hockey in US? (and this is coming from a Canadian)

All of the other great games coming out for the PS3 aren't as good as Bioshock though, imo. Most PS3 fans would know that if they'd ever played it. Not giving it a chance because it was released a year ago? I don't think that's a valid excluse.

I imagine the real reason is the game wasn't advertised, and most people who buy games don't check the reviews, along with many of those PS3 owners also owning a PC or 360 and playing it on that first.

Trying to pretend that "oh the PS3 just has better games than Bioshock, that's why nobody bought it" is incorrect and insulting. Maybe 2 games this year on the PS3 will even be in Bioshock's league, and I couldn't consider either on of them better, or equal, imho(and yes I've played Disgaea, LBP, MGS4 but not KZ2, so that one is still an assumption). Bioshock manages to be one of the best games on the 360 and the PC, and now the PS3. There aren't many games better than it, anywhere, ever. What games do you think are better? Valkyria Chrons? Motostorm? No dude. LBP and MGS4 maybe. If you've never played Bioshock, then you don't have an opinion, you have an assumption...and that assumption would be wrong.

I don't need your console war.

Like what is this "crap" on 360 that is 90+ and didn't deserve it or sell well?

Most of the well reviewed games that didn't sell well are on the wii btw...

Metroid Prime 3 (I know it sold over a million but this is metroid we're talking about here, same league as Zelda and Donkey Kong)

Okami

BoomBlox

Zack and Wiki

No More heroes

First of all, the Metroid franchise was never anywhere close to Zelda and Donkey Kong. Okami probably sold as bad on the PS2 (with a 100mil+ userbase) as it did on the Wii. As for the rest, they're games that all sold just fine. NMH is getting a sequel, and Boom Blox is doing a steady 8-10k a week. Not quite sure about Zack and Wiki. Anyway, these 3 only made ~85 on metacritic. I can cherry pick on HD consoles too, look here:

NHL 08
86 metacritic

0.13m PS3
0.24m 360
Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise 82 metacritic

0.17m
Virtua Fighter 5
89 metacritic

0.50m PS3
0.19m 360
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 88 metacritic
0.37m
Tales of Vesperia 82 metacritic
0.25m
Valkyria Chronicles 87 metacritic
0.15m

Valkyria Chronicles hasn't come to the west yet, and ToV hasn't reached Others, but neither is likely to break 400k (I'd say 500k max). While ToV may have been funded by Microsoft, I'm unsure of Sony paying for Valkyria Chronicles. Pure was released 6 weeks ago, and with an 83/85 metacritic, has only managed .32m sales.

It's harder to pick out low selling HD titles because the higher rated games are often high budget, in a more popular genre, and advertised. There were more plenty more on the PS2 last gen. All it means is low budget, niche games won't sell no matter how great they are. This often means smaller Japanese games that aren't friendly to the west.

kotaku,

gamespot,

wii music biased reviews done by people who played it for less than 2-3 days and gave it low scores cuz they've sucked hard at this game,

lowering fire emblem score just because it's harder than average srpg,

dewy's adventure reviews,

elebits situation(some biased sites just like gamespot lowered elebits score, because
"it was average game/nothing new and tech demo" and give this game 5-6 out of 10 and still at the same time gave away 8s to ps360 shooters that i can't even recognise without seeing boxart or title screen of them).

disolitude

you DO realise that

- okami on wii sold better than on ps2 with 1/4 of ps2 userbase and is still selling,

- no more heroes is Suda 51s best selling game,

- metroid prime 3 passed already echoes in sales,

- zack & wiki in few weeks will pass 450k,

- boom blox passed 0.5mln few weeks ago,

Alot of games that get 9+ doesn't often deserve it.

ya, like half the crap on the 360...

360's crap features real gameplay. If you are going to settle for nintendo's "waggle the controller=gameplay" gig this gen that's fine but don't diss hate like that.
