Like what is this "crap" on 360 that is 90+ and didn't deserve it or sell well?

Most of the well reviewed games that didn't sell well are on the wii btw...

Metroid Prime 3 (I know it sold over a million but this is metroid we're talking about here, same league as Zelda and Donkey Kong)

Okami

BoomBlox

Zack and Wiki

No More heroes

First of all, the Metroid franchise was never anywhere close to Zelda and Donkey Kong. Okami probably sold as bad on the PS2 (with a 100mil+ userbase) as it did on the Wii. As for the rest, they're games that all sold just fine. NMH is getting a sequel, and Boom Blox is doing a steady 8-10k a week. Not quite sure about Zack and Wiki. Anyway, these 3 only made ~85 on metacritic. I can cherry pick on HD consoles too, look here:

NHL 08
86 metacritic

0.13m PS3
0.24m 360
Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise 82 metacritic

0.17m
Virtua Fighter 5
89 metacritic

0.50m PS3
0.19m 360
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 88 metacritic
0.37m
Tales of Vesperia 82 metacritic
0.25m
Valkyria Chronicles 87 metacritic
0.15m

Valkyria Chronicles hasn't come to the west yet, and ToV hasn't reached Others, but neither is likely to break 400k (I'd say 500k max). While ToV may have been funded by Microsoft, I'm unsure of Sony paying for Valkyria Chronicles. Pure was released 6 weeks ago, and with an 83/85 metacritic, has only managed .32m sales.

It's harder to pick out low selling HD titles because the higher rated games are often high budget, in a more popular genre, and advertised. There were more plenty more on the PS2 last gen. All it means is low budget, niche games won't sell no matter how great they are. This often means smaller Japanese games that aren't friendly to the west.
