If you mean published by Microsoft Game Studios, then you could add Halo:Chronicles to your list (But I doubt a 2009 release + we don't know if it's going to be any good)

Yeah.  IT doesn't have to be first party, but it has to be an acquired exclusive.

Halo Chronicles has the same problem as Halo Recon.  Neither is big enough to count as the "big shooter" that Microsoft has ensured comes exclusively to the Xbox 360 every year.  One is an expansion, the other is episodic and perhaps not even retail released (not to mention bordering on vapourware).

if they stay true to with a big FPS per holiday then i expect a new IP

dunno whether to say 1st party or 2nd but i cant see a new gears, nor a new halo, never played PD so dunno about a new one.

Mass Effect 2 is an RPG, which debuted alongside Halo 3.  Noone will accept it as Microsoft's shooter and they know it.

Huxley is vapourware as far as I know these days.  Even if it isn't my understanding is it's not your standard shooter fare.

Alan Wake is survival horror and will hopefully be out early or mid next year.

Wow. PDZ sucked, I hope there isn't a two.

But Halo 3: Recon is coming next fall didn't Bungie say? That'll probably be the premiere shooter title next year. I would have said ME2, but it's not as big of a game as a Halo or a Gears.

Id rather see killer instinct 3 than PDZ2...ofcourse sales wise I can see why they may want to push perdect dark instead.
