No, your just hating, Since i can name a handful of games/devs who would disagree with your "Opinion" one of them is the upcoming mirrors edge and it says HI! and guess what? its an EA/Dice game no less.

There are always exceptions to the rule, but look at most of the games being released on both platforms. Even with a lot of the big titles that have come out, the ps3 has got the slightly weaker version.

Mirrors Edge? someone was say here yesterday that they look the same but the ps3 has some tearing going on in the demo.

Fixed.

This +1. Nice one Spankey!

It makes sense, from what I've heard it's harder to port a game to PS3 from 360. From PS3 to 360 it's supposedly a lot easier. That being said the game would already be optimized to run on PS3 which is the more complicated of the two, and it would run the same on the 360. Anyway, if that's true it's a good thing. You can't go wrong with two great versions of a game.

Yay! Slave! Well said bud!

Exactly right but some VGCharts members would disagree with us. *cough* misteromar mk4 *cough*

I think alot of it depends on where it begins. if it starts life on the pc, it will move from there to 360/ps3. if they are a native pc developer working on a console only game it depends on who offers the most programing help, which up until very recently had been ms. with sony helping out more now, it could swing the other way.

One thing sony needs to get control of to guarantee ps3 lead development, is a larger share of traditional yearly million sellers within the soccer world this has already happened but they need to get control of madden back. this will help justify the larger teams for ps3 development, and even when being ported will lead to better ps3 ports. the 360 can be ported with a much smaller team, and developed with one as well, so it has an advantage built in.

This was all I wanted.
to play games of good quality on my ps3
I only cared about ps3 sales for games being developed on ps3.
so they could be better quality.
An example is silent hill homecoming(developed on 360). And Dead Space (developed on PS3). PS3 lead platform games >>>>> 360 lead platform.
now there's only missing using blu-ray capacity as lead. and 360 could have multidiscs I mean I don't care about ps3 games being multiplat as long as everything is in good quality and has less limitations. GTA4 sucked because of that. so much limitations.

They certainly could, but MS makes multi-disk licensing extremely (almost prohibitively) expensive.

I hope something good comes out of FF13 on 360 and MS makes more use of Multidisc.

Agreed.

MS should seriously reconsider their approach to multidisc. Even better times could be had by all imo.

i as a 360 user dont mind multi disk i remember doing it with the ps2, and ps1, so why stop now. on top of that disk installs could stop that from becoming an issue... though this does show the big hole they put in the stratagy by pushing the arcade or even it exsiting really i expect the arcade to be gone within a year and both the pro and elite to double hd space to support larger games

basically to keep its promise to stupid people who bought the core/arcade ms must embrace multi disk, and allow the rest of us to install

on the flip side we may see a return to solid state with games coming on jump drives, which could also solve the problem  while reducing load time, thats a solution i support... blue ray needs to get up to a bare minimum of 24x speed so they can stop wasting space duplicating data all over the disk to keep load times down.

on the demo of mirrors edge they both seemed pretty bad and lack of polish was that the final build? if so are they same team that did the orange box transfer for EA? oh well its not a game i would want to have known as a ps3 lead platform game unless it is cleaned up. it was very glitchy for me.... more so than mercs 2 or fable 2

When it cost 10's of millions of dollars to make a game and needs a huge amount of people. But porting cost a lot less and only takes a few people. Which do you think makes more sense for to streamline?
