i think it will happen within the next 10-15 years. I just think that the video game industry will have a great fall, far greater than the video game crash 1983.

But seriously, the gaming industry is pretty mature at this point. There might be a few contractions as the industry shifts around a little, but the amount of money involved in this industry plus decades of socializing people into accepting that gaming isn't the work of the devil should keep things pretty steady from here.
The industry was just a toddler back in '83. Now it's a lumbering behemoth finally tapping into the mainstream.

what about the day when the video game industry grows to big, if you keep building somthing up it will have a far greater fall.

If and when we haven't switched from purely graphical updates to old games, then it'll happen when power increases no longer equal noticeable graphical output. The industry would become stale and non moving which is what happened in 1983.
The industry is a lot more advanced and more concrete than it was in 1983 so i really don't think another crash will happen. Until graphics can't get any better

music is just one of those things that will never die, but i think there will be a movie crash. we are running out of ideas for movies. that might be the next crash for video games as well

there will be a bad crash for the hd class consoles if either sony or ms launch a new console before 2012, the transition will be very very rough. as for nintendo they have a plan in place even if they somehow botch next gen and there is a crash they will make money, and survive till its over.

very true as long as they try and keep running an industry with retarded overhead, and sueing the people they want to sell music to the good times will not return, people like apple, and others have helped the industry onto life support for a number of years, and they just keep shooting themselves in the foot
