I don't think it's graphics matter more but more of it hasn't improved much graphic wise from the last one and that's why it's being dinged there and overall.

That and as others said it wasn't going against anything with RFoM, now it's going against some very heavy hitters.

Yeah, which is pretty sad.  But oh well, not much us players can do about that.  We just sit back and watch.

There is definitely more to list that I want, but that's my main focus there.

@Kaz and Gamerace - You two have logical points, I can see what your saying, just kind of disappointing.

Oh well, I am still going to enjoy the game. Also, it has not received many reviews yet

the thing is gamepro ruined the meta, with its flawed review system. A 4/5 should be really good but the leaps between the scores are to high. 5/5 is a 10
while 4 out of 5 is just an 8.

That and as others said it wasn't going against anything with RFoM, now it's going against some very heavy hitters.

If the reviewers are basing it off improvements, then what about games like Gears 2, Bioshock(PS3) and HL2? Granted the graphics of those games are great but there still haven't been any huge improvements. Either way, basing my opinion off the beta and videos, I think R2 looks much better technically than R1/ratchet. Whats next? are reviews going to bring down scores if Uncharted 2/Halo4 isn't a dramatic graphical upgrade from the previous installations?
