Forums - Microsoft - Anyone picking up "Two Worlds" @ Launch?

I am massively considering buying TW when it comes out. The game looks real good, and even though I will have to stop playing it to play Blue Dragon (3 RPGs coming out in 5 weeks, dang it!).

Nevertheless, I'm either going to pre-order it to ensure I get a copy, or just waltz into my EB and get it.

So what about you guys? Is anyone here getting it @ launch, or should I make sure I get a copy to give initial impressions once it comes out? I'm hastily trying to finish Shivering Isles on Oblivion before it comes out (with my very limited gaming time), or else I'll never finish SI.

Yes im getting it, its like Oblivion but with 8 player online so that made up my mind.

I might rent it to see what it's about but unless it totally surprises me then I won't be buying it.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

I just wonder how the online 8p co-op will be. IMO, that could be a killer feature of the game. Too bad I'll never get to play that aspect.

I'll be buying it since I love wrpgs and I already finished Oblivion.

I've already prepaid for it. I think it lookes awesome. I didn't even know about the online feature. That might be interesting.

Basically, the online portion is:

You join a lobby, ie any FPS game. It's an 8 player co-op quest, requiring the players to pair and split up to gather various items at local towns (its not like your playing on the entire map), then join back together to finish the quest in some uber-battling mayhem from what I hear.

If properly implemented, this could be the X360's World of Warcraft meets Halo. But I'm holding my breath on that part - nevertheless, 2w did get great reviews in Germany, where it's been out for awhile - it recieved an 8.8 due to the great MP aspects.

Here's hoping it catches on like wildfire and does well.

I'm interested in checking it out when I get my 360 back. Right now I'm stuck playing demos and XBLA since it won't read a DVD.

I hate trolls.

Systems I currently own:  360, PS3, Wii, DS Lite (2)
Systems I've owned: PS2, PS1, Dreamcast, Saturn, 3DO, Genesis, Gamecube, N64, SNES, NES, GBA, GB, C64, Amiga, Atari 2600 and 5200, Sega Game Gear, Vectrex, Intellivision, Pong.  Yes, Pong.

There might be a demo of it somewhere online for the X360, and at minimum, there are a few trailers.

Over at the official Xbox forums, I've been doing alot of research on it. My hype for the game has gone from "meh" to "Oblivion-killer". More weapons, more magic, larger, exp-based, no level scaling, and 32 skills!

It looks to be a great game, and I can't wait for it.
