WiiRHardcore said: I hate to go on a rant considering I haven't played it yet. But based of a video review of the 360 version, don't expect it to be the successor to GoldenEye. It's basically COD4 with Bond. It looks mostly linear with similar scripted set pieces. Plus they added a cover system kind of like in Perfect Dark Zero, and we all know what a piece of crap that was. And my favorite, timed button presses, does every game need to have these? Although the wii version probably has you shaking the remote which could be more fun, I don't know. I'll be renting the wii version to atleast try out the multiplayer, it's the only version with local multiplayer, ya, splitscreen, what a concept. |
Sir, you said it yourself: You haven't played the game, so don't say anything about it.
It might not be the successor to GoldenEye, but for what it does, it delivers 100%! Sure, it's linear like all the James Bond games anyways with scripted set pieces, and they are damn impressive if you ask me! The cover system is so cheap on the PC, you can't miss a headshot for sure. It looks a bit harder on the console versions, like Gears I guess. It works damn fine and can't be compared to Perfect Dark Zero's. Timed button presses are just during two particular little fights, and they're not hard at all. You can take down opponents too, which requires button presses, but it's definitely not needed. The hacking parts are so easy anyways.
At least try it, you might be impressed.
