Forums - General - Have you ever been rejected by a girl? I just got rejected by a girl :/

Shoot, I got played in high school and took it really hard. It wasn't until college that I really stopped playing games and started understanding women. Yeah, maturity goes a long way, and maybe I was a wii bit hard on the guy. I wasn't perfect either - known of us were - but man, being happy because a girl got own3d isn't cool - but could have been an opportunity for you. Shoot, you could have walked up to her and said 'Girl, I'm here for you. Can I get your something? Water? A tissue? A big, frontal hug?' However, you went the other immature route.

Where some folks see diaster, some see opportunities.

In the end ctk. You sit next to the girl. Asking her to talk in the internet and not real life is plain dumb and creepy.
Not to mention that those 2 posts you and Onyx made are just horrible.

Come on dude. Grow up a bit. Im a bitch at asking a girl I "like" outbut I still manage to actually speak to them.

I get my share of friends with privileges however. ;)

LOL. I tell you - after 6 years of being married, I would be a monster on the dating scene. If I can get a smile out of a woman, I could get to first and could go home. Back in the day, there was this hottie from Fla. and I wanted to holla. However, I sent word for her info via a homie - and she was like 'if he wanted my info that bad, he should have asked.' Using Facebook is only good if you know the person - OR - you have mad skillz in the area of prose.

Oh, to be his age with the knowledge of a 35-year-old. I would be the mickey fickey kid in grade school. Shoot, me and D21Lewis would be in class, macking and having the teachers wanting to holla. Akuma would be there too - and we'd be running the ISD.

in the middle of a quiet moment in class, you Stand up and yell "NO I WILL NOT MAKE OUT WITH YOU!"

In all seriousness, I don't consider it a rejection at all.

This text message/IM/Facebook/Myspace thing is crap. If you're serious enough, do it the old fashioned way and invite her out somewhere in person.

If she says yeah, then great. If you get shut down, then its not a big deal and move on. But don't get all emo over it.

I know this is going off topic, but hearing you tell other people to grow up, I just have to say something. I HATE it.

It may be that I'm incredibly childish, and have been told to grow up almost all my life, but I really lose a lot of respect for people who say it.

Why should someone else tell me how grown up I am, and what being mature means, and that I need to be more mature? I don't see the point.

Children should be allowed to be children. Play around, screw up a few things while it's still minor. If you make people grow up overly fast, they'll screw up big time later.

Case is, you'll never have as much fun as when you're a child.

As long as you don't do anything serious, you should only hurt (mentally) the other person slightly. You'll see how things work, and learn for yourself. Being slightly guided and be allowed to do what you want is in most cases far better than being told what is right and wrong, and not seeing the reasoning completely.

So your advice is pretty much to be an asshole? I'll keep that in mind.

And you're not giving someone a lot of self-confidence by telling them that they don't have any.

And Akuma, that picture is priceless.

Well I never said I didn't have women issues. It's pretty obvious I do.

I'm not going to tell ctk he has self confidence if I don't think he does. That doesn't do him any favors. He needs confidence and there are many ways to go about it. You can think of my way as a shortcut for the short term. Also remember he's a teenager and that kind of thing works in High School. I'm also not being entirely serious with my diatribes, and I can tell he picked up on it, unlike a number of other people with their awesome OWNED pics that seem to just exemplify the point I was making about cheating-ass ladies and fellas.

@Zapp Brannigan-You're the last one who should be talking. You're the pimpinest one of us all you man slut rejectathon.

I can't really say anything about this as

A) I'm actually younger than him

and

B) I've never had a girlfriend

So I really have no clue what the heck I'm doing in this topic.

Put it like this - are you mature? Do you have 10-15 years of experience to back up your claims? If you want to learn via trial and error - and be a complete ass and have no girls at your school want to be in the same area code as you, cool. Sure, we could be lying to you, but why would we? The OP told us something - and we offered our advice. When you agree with it, you are happy - but when you don't agree, you are confused.

Fact of the matter is, the vast majority of girls will make exceptions for jocks or really cool guys. They often never mature. There's no need to - because the girls accept them for that. They will lax their standards for *extraordinary* guys (And I use that term very, very loosely).

For the average joe, they need to attract attention to themselves. Acting rude or like an ass is so grade schoolish.

You don't have to believe anything we post. Based on the fact that D21Lewis has hit most of So. Cal and I have been swimming in so much Tang I could be an astronaut, and countless others, we have been there, done that.

As far as having fun as a child - please. I hated high school. I so much love my life now. I can buy whatever I want - I have a sweet whip and a bangin' system - I have a vast majority of video games and systems I have wanted (I am collecting retro systems now) and a ton of possesions and the ability to travel to anywhere in the world I want to - having a bangin' wife and kids - and review video games for one of the biggest newspapers in the country? Hahahaha ...

No, the only way I'd trade my life now to go back to middle school is if I could have all the knowledge now and put it into my younger body.

You really should see how I roll, son. I have a blast on the daily. I live my life like it's my last.

I agree with most of what you have posted, and I find that you have given some great advice. I cannot really reply to most of your post though. There are two things I can say though.

1)  I believe that nobody will be a complete ass if they learn through a bit trial and errory. I'm sure the OP has learnt a ton from this experience. Whether the advice you gave actually helped him, I'm not so sure, as I believe it might have caused him to believe other people, and lose confidence in his own decisions.

2) Maybe it's different in USA. People seem to dislike High School a lot there. My main point was really the time before high school though (like, up untill you're 13). I think you have forgotten how dang awesome that time was, as you have 10-15 years since it. Everything is still new and exciting, and you get the pleasure of learning something entirely new every day. At the same time, everything is fun, and you can essentially run around having fun and try doing a salto if you want to. I'm still incredibly childish like that. I can have a hell of a lot of fun with a ball and a wall.

I'm not saying life goes to hell and becomes a piece of shit once you turn 20, but being a 15 year old who's still 10 year old in his mind is one hell of a blast.

PS: I guess this gets a bit like the console wars actually. You have so incredibly much fun at your age, and I have so incredibly much fun at mine, that we lack the ability to see how much fun the other one has.

almost girls are sluts. They are gold-diggers who want nothing but money. shouldn't even worry about it, at least until you are at that age when you have nothing better to do
