Haven't we heard about how "KZ2 is going to rock our socks" ever since E3 2005 and all we had was a CGI trailor?

Ok watching Kz2, playing KZ2 beta and watching trailor 2 Gears of War 2.
I would give the environments to Gears.
Enemies/models of the "people" are pretty even with a moderate nod to KZ2
Effects I would give to KZ2 by a reasonable margin.
And overall I would say KZ2 looks a bit nicer.
But all in all both look like excellent and really fun games and im looking forward to Gears a little more because I loved the first but KZ2 is next on my list of anticipated shooters.

All those games you listed are boring to look at.
I would much rather look at something with style like Eternal Sonata (the best looking game this gen I think) than something like Heavy Rain.

I was going to post a reply in this thread, but to my surprise, I noticed your post detailed exactly what I had in mind. (Right down to the Alan Wake PC build fiasco.)

Based on the trailers, I'd say
1) Heavy Rain
2) Killzone 2
3) Gears of War 2
4) Alan Wake
5) Far Cry 2
I have to say though, that it's fairly close between KZ2 and GeOW2. I thought that the character models in KZ2 looked better, but some of the environments in Gears were absolutely stunning. Heavy Rain was still better than both, in my opinion. As for Alan Wake and Far Cry 2, well Alan Wake had some meh character models, and the environment in Far Cry 2 just didn't leave me impressed.

Heavy Rain may have the best graphics for a interactive movie Game but gameplay will be boring and no MP is probaly gonna end up killing the game replay value.
1st one failed and second one has, but i give u credit for trying
my list
1. Heavy Rain (astoundingly confirmed to be game grafix)
2. KZ2 (staggering)
3. GeOW3 (new unreal engine shines through brilliantly)
4. Hey Alan hows things? (no in game footage has been shown to my knowledge)
5. Far Cry 2 (i had this game should be renamed Far Slow 2) good grafix though
@ garett OP posted regarding grafix, in your own post you have admitted that heavy rain indeed does have the best grafix.
