The religion in that game is disturbing. Really no different that the cults. I can't believe Dr. Mercer as intelligent as he is. >__>

yeah doesnt it kinda remind you of the Heavens Gate religion?

It certainly does.  In this game those monsters are considered "Holy" aren't they? By the Unitologists?

yeah, i think so... i dont remember. but they sure do creep me out with that religion, and they did a good job by making it kind of a "who knows who's religious and whos not" because everyone has a different opinion. i really liked/hated to find out that some people were more religious than you  were led on to.

Dead Space is a good new ip, but it was a little short. (Just over 10 hours for me) I traded it in when done for Fallout 3. I would reccommend it as the perfect rental unless you like to play through your games multiple times. Good game with original ideas, i.e. Zero Gravity, and awesome sound and scary enemies, but just too short for 60 bucks.

Get this game! It's awesome and an excellent horror game!

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

i mightve mentioned this before, but has anyone noticed how similar to the Halo series? i mean, isaac IS a lot more human than John117 but i still cant help but see some similarities to the two games (and the Flood did scare me when i first played halo)
