I wouldn't hold out hope for it if I were you. WiiWare was intended to not be disc-based. Some of it probably will eventually get released into disc compilation form (SBCG4AP is almost a given in that regard), but a lot of it is being put out there as intentionally download-only.

The purpose of WiiWare is for devs to make cheap downloadable games so they can make whatever they want and get all the money. Why would they put it on discs? I just don't see it happening anytime soon.

Not. Nintendo will keep the download service on its future machines, thus the games will always be available.
However, I would bet that there would be future promotions or games across the board get discounted, etc.
