Forums - Microsoft - Will MS let us make avatars with buck teeth and scary RROD eyes?

I want freedom of expression in my avatar. If I want RROD eyes, I should be able to have RROD eyes.

What do you think? Will I be able to have scary RROD eyes so I can frighten all the people online with it or do you think Microsoft is too chicken to let me?

I hope mine can have a joint in his mouth. That would be nice.

If your avatar has vampire teeth it'll make it easier to hold the joint.

What about a Zombie hitman with a Gears of War style chainsaw gun?

Possibly. They have said they plan on releasing an ungodly amount of new clothes and features as DLC, even those worn by characters of specific games.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

good idea, but id like to go with either fiber wire, or a flame thrower .... flame thrower not very hitmanish, but it would provided cooked brains

This is the fundamental difference between MS and Nintendo. MS gets the money directly out of Avatar DLC; Nintendo doesn't because they know that Miis sell more games when they aren't commercialised themselves. Nintendo makes more money in the end, but MS shareholders see the benefits directly.

I'm not criticising either way. It's just interesting too see their strategies differ so much.
