Forums - Nintendo - Should I get a Wii or 360?

He already owns one (check his user profile)

I would advise you to buy a Wii, because it's more different to your PS3 than the 360 is, and the games library is different too.

The Wii has a much better library for local multiplayer - when you have friends over.

The Wii is cheaper, unless you buy the arcade

On the other hand
The 360 has better online multiplayer

the 360 is cheaper if the arcade suits you

So in the end it's personal preference

since you missed out on the gamecube (like myself), you'll have a heck of a lot of games to keep you occupied even after you are finished with the everexpanding wii library.. as said by d21lewis, this would be if you are into Nintendo franchises, because while not all games are from them, most and the best (imo) are

I really think this depends on your age. If you are over the age of 14 I would get the 360. Under the age get the Wii.

Look at the recent article of VG's top 10 wii games. For me (age 32) there is not one single game that would interest me. Only reason I have ever bought a nintendo console in the last 15 years is for Bond 64.

Now if you are an independent adult the 360's new dashboard will include instant streaming of over 12500 movies via netflix. This will also include game rentals and all the TV shows. Not to mention the best games library among the 3 consoles.

I really don't understand the appeal of the Wii unless you want to play 30 mario titles in the next year and countless of crap "party" games (samba di amigo are you fn serious, who purchases this crap?)

You already have a PS3. The PS3 and 360 share almost the same library at times. Get a Wii. The experiences you can find from a PSWii combo are much more varied than that of PS360.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

How insincere it is! I'm 26 and there is not one single game that would interest me on PS3 either. And for your information, PS360 is known to be consoles which target teens as their main market while Wii is targeting people of any age. Also Snake 612 put a lot of Nintendo first party titles in his favorite games.

Think again

If you already own a PS3 I would definitely recommend a Wii.

1. A lot of games very different from the PS3 library, plus it really is a new gaming experience. Enough great games.

2. VC. Easily my favorite feature on Wii. NES/SNES/N64/Genesis etc. classics are still very fun to play. Like Secret of Mana, Mega Man 2, 2D Mario's, Ocarina of Time, 2D Sonics etc.

I would get a xbox 360 because of better graphics, online, and games. And is cheaper than the wii is some places.

What do you like most, first person shooters & HD graphics or motion control & Ninty's AAA titles? A! xbox360 costs 200euros and Wii 250euros!!
Your choice...
