LOL is that a serious question?

I'm not RolStoppable, I only make "serious" threads. No jokes here.

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

GT is the king of racing games, racing games are big draws and the Fans of the previous games will undoubtedly want to get their hands on GT5.

Let's hope you're right.

DMC sold better on ps3 , PES sold better on ps3
what else?

Did you read the OP? I'm talking about games that stand out by doing ridiculous numbers like Gears, Halo, SMG, SSBB etc. The ps3 has none so far.

lol my edit was too slow

yeah I get ur point now

Basically you think LBP failed because it sold copies before it was released? Wow.

IT HASN'T EVEN BEEN RELEASED IN SOME PARTS OF THE WORLD AND YOU'RE CALLING IT A FAILURE TO MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS?

May I ask what your expectations were, because there is no way you can know sales numbers.

Sports and racing games are the kind of games PS3 sell best. As for the new JRPG console, DS easily take this title.

playstation 2 has one those game u r talking about GTA
most of the games that identify the ps -and used to sell well- is no longer exclusive
so sony is trying to build new IPs that can sell well ofcourse that may need years
KZ2 and God of war may change things too
and games doesn't have to sell like halo and mario to meet expectations

I expected mario-type sales but that doesn't seem attainable anymore
