EDIT: Sorry, it had to be done.

I suggest you look at the charts for previous years.

Last year, it was about the second week in November that sales started to rise dramatically. This year it appears to be much earlier, at the second week in October, though data is only through the 25th of October so it might not be right.

Usually some time in November, when most of the killer apps launch. I'd say all the consoles will start to see their holiday rises at about the time Gears of War 2 launches. Not that it will have an effect across all three consoles, but at about that time period.

Well I think they have already started rising due to the number of games. LBP should push some hardware in the US this week, and then in PAL next week (along with MS PR) for the PS3. Of course Fable II and Gears 2 are the pushes for Xbox. The major multiplatform games are just starting to flow, and all these games should push consumers to upgrade to a new console, so sales should keep increasing from this week for PS3 and 360

Wii is more complicated, because there aren't as many games coming this christmas, and I think availability is still an issue, so it depends how many wiis Nintendo ship

About now.... Mid October you wll see a worldwide upward trend till the end of the year, but you will get fluctuations like perhaps 1st week of November is slightly bigger than the 2nd week.... or a possibility (though unusual worldwide) is that the week with black Friday will be bigger than the following week.
