I was thinking of doing this too, but I think 60GB is pretty excessive.
How much, roughly, would a 20GB external hard drive cost? How much time does it take to copy everything onto it?
Even PSN downloaded games? Whats stopping a person from downloading saved PSN games to an external hard drive and putting them on other peoples PS3?
I believe it is limited to five activations, but I'm not sure how they enforce it.
