her, along with a lot of other people, are prediction rediculous numbers which mess with the average, which in turn messes with the payout. For example, some poeple predict 0 for LTD WW Sales. Obviously the consoles have already sold something. Others are betting 2b units, which again is insane, but the field allows that.

@binary code

Binary is a base 2 counting system. For each digit you can only have a 0 or a 1. We normally count in decimal, which uses 1 of 10 numbers for each digit in a number.

Each letter you see here has to be represented on your computer somehow. ASCII is a standard that maps a binary number in your computers memory to a letter displayed on the screen.

So an 'A' is 41 in Hex (base 16 counting system). This is equal to 01000001 in binary. (41hex = 65decimal).

By converting the binary number into hex, I can read off the ASCII representation fairly fast.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

1) Check her predictions for the WW Jan1st round, they were too low (for example, PS3 at 8 million LTD)

2) It's a combination of 0s and 1s. If you take each number to belong in a position of a power of 2, you can convert the number say 01001111 to an integer number (here, 79). Then there's an ASCII code in which every character you can type with your keyboard is assigned a number between 0 and 255, you can translate it by replacing each number for the character (or letting a translator do it for you)

 

I did that adjustment to help out with the averages. Her orinal bets were random low 0-20.
