I just cant seem to figure out how to put a GT clip in a post.

EDIT: I just took the embed code and pasted it into the post box.

nothing happens in mine. I put the embed code of the Ghost Town Trailer but it doesnt work for me. Here's the embed code I used on File/URL property:

I also put Flash as the Type of media, but still no work.

Dont use the media bullshit where it says post URL or whatever.

Simply

1. Copy embedded code
2. Paste embeddec code
3. Post
4. Edit Post
   
5. Post again (withoutchanging anythign)
6. Done.

So do you just copy the code across without bothering with the insert media thing at all?

Yup. the insert media is useless until they fix it.
