I expect Mass Effect 2 to stay a timed exclusive at the very least but it will more than likely stay exclusive.

Bioshock 2 has already been confirmed multiplatform so it's going to stay a multiplatform and not even a timed exclusives.

Star Ocean 4 was given a trailer on the PSP version of GoW.

It's now an Xbox 360 exclusive.

I'm positive that Bioshock 2 will appear on the PS3, but there is nothing yet to prove when...

It was confirmed by Take 2 recently about BS2 being multi-plat.

Yes, but it was not confirmed to have simultaneous releases to my knowledge.

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS

When are these games due and what will the landscape look like at the time?

assumption is the mother of all f**k ups

Bioshock 2 will almost certainly be multiplatform. Mass Effect 2? Highly unlikely. Any contractual agreement made to MS by Bioware has to be honored by EA.

I would say ME2 is mutli because EA is EA.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Seriously if you have been on these forums long enough to make hundreds or thousands of posts you should be well versed in the fact that Microsoft was the console publisher for Mass Effect. The fact that Electronic Arts purchased Bioware cannot change that. Electronic Arts did not get the publishing rights that Microsoft already purchased.

Microsoft would have to be paid supremely well for them to even consider letting Electronic Arts publish the title for the PS3. Bottom line your never going to get the first game on the PS3. We are looking at a less then one percent chance. The other titles are probably fair game, but in all likelihood Microsoft probably secured the other two titles in the series. I also doubt that Electronic Arts had to be bribed too handsomely to do so. Bioware is not skilled in development for multiple consoles. The fan base for their games are on one console. Electronic Arts purchased the developer to get their hands on the MMO.

I would be incredibly surprised if Mass Effect 2 was not exclusive. Bioshock 2 is probably for multiple platforms. Take 2 needs all of the money it can get right now. That said it isn't at all entirely relevant, because the title will probably not arrive until 2010.

If they come to the ps3 ,, u can just say "thanx Europe"

I wouldn't spend extra money on Bioshock 2 if I were MS.

Their own sales + the abysmal sales on the PS3 would mean that the majority of players already connect the game with the Xbox.

Why waste money on a franchise your console already "owns"?

Starcraft, ur reaching. If they confirmed that it will be multi platform, what do you think will happen if they release the 360 version before the PS3? PS3 owners will scream foul and that will really hinder it's sales.
