One of the big reasons I'm so anxious about Crystal Bearers is (from the trailer and interviews) it seems to reintroduce the exploration and adventure aspects that the PS2 Final Fantasy games dropped.
Add in Kingdom Hearts style graphics, a single-player focus with an optional multiplayer feature, the Final Fantasy name (the predecessor CC was a much more solid game than most, if not all, of the other FF spin-offs), and now put it on the hottest console ever seen, and we suddenly have a LOT of potential in Japan alone for it to become a possible million seller.
If the Wii has an install base of 5-6 million in Japan by the end of the year, which is very possible at this point, I don't think we can safely estimate the significant potential of this title . :)
Nobody is crazy enough to accuse me of being sane.
