Forums - Sony - 160Gb PS3 releasing in Europe this week

Google Translation:

They come to the 160 GB PlayStation 3 in Spain

25 Oct 2008, 19:17

Finally reaching the first units of the console last generation of Sony with a large 160GB hard drive to Spain. The date of entry is next week and the PlayStation 3 with new hard drive will not come alone.

Sony has announced that Spain next week will reach the Iberian market a new pack of its PlayStation 3 that will include double the hard drive that so far, reaching the beautiful figure of 160 GB with which continues to lead the battle against the gigabytes Microsoft XBox 360 console.

The pack will incorporate a command DUALSHOCK 3 and value-added content such as a coupon to download the following games from PlayStation Network: Ratchet & Clank: In search of treasure, Super Stardust HD, Gran Turismo 5: Prologue and The Last Guy.

Sony seems to have therefore begun to understand that the price of the console, Microsoft is doing damage to its sales, and while not lower the selling price of the pack: 449.90 euros, it offers several games that would entail an outlay economically important. The pack will be of limited print run, so if you're serious about buying you should not expect too much or you will be without him.

another great bundle for ps3 fans

i'm failling to see the purpose of this SKU , a downgraded PS3 with a 20GB hard drive would be smarter for beating the current economic situation .

A 20Gb HDD would probably be more expensive than an 80Gb HDD by now. Quite possibly more expensive than a 160Gb HDD too.

i saw a 250gb for 125
