1) Nothing but kiddie games.

2) Graphics its all about the graphics

3) No 3rd party support, or well wait let me rephrase that no good 3rd party company no wait let change that to no games that i like.

4) Did i forget to mention the graphics? Ya not good.

5) Mini games, the system will never have any "real" games on it.

6) Online support. Does the wii even have any real online support out for it?

7) I think its too small, needs to be 3 times bigger then it is, remember bigger is always better for a console.

8) The controler is just a fad, remember back in the day? Atari had it, ps2 had it (your name brand here)

9) The wii is just a fad, same with the ds, wont last, too cheap, graphics ugh.

10) There not making it affordable $250 and it comes with a free game? Crazy!

     I get tired of some the people talking about the wii and using these same selling points about why the wii should fail and when. A lot of this list made me laugh so just thought i would share, not trying to start anything just a fun little myth busting going on.

#2 isn't a myth for the Wii. It's the biggest detractor to it. It's a myth for gaming in general. Graphics can be nice but they're not the end all in gaming. Otherwise I wouldn't still be playing games that I first started playing the early 90s.



To cash in my CC rewards points for $300 in Circuit City gift cards to purchase a 360 or not: That is the question.

Your list is confrontational... and you forgot #11 Only Casuals buy Wii, and Casuals won't buy games other than WiiPlay. They will be happy with just those two and won't buy any others.



I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

Me a troll?, I was looking for something serious and this came across. I think that some of the things that are call myth are not, the 3rd party support is partly true, no good 3rd party games out (yet), games in general for the Wii are dissapointing, and the when you say only port and minigames I completly agree with that.
So those are no myth. At least not now.
