Forums - Gaming - Guitar Hero World Tour dilemma

Yeah, I omitid to do so. Good Point FishyJoe. That was from IGN Wii review. sorry bout that.

It seems that GH:WT comes with the new guitar and drum kit and mic. i.e. one guitar. So if you want two guitars (for all 4 to play, do I understand this right?) and take advantage of versus mode than you should go with the system yu have GHIII on.

This could very well tip the scales to the Wii, but again, I'd have to see if that would cost me an extra $100 on Wii motes and whether I can justify that price.

(for me Brawl sucked (compared to Melee), No multiplayer over 2 for my top 5, Mario Kart Wii is still in Time Out (not the arcade, its been bad) and well the Wii is currently unplugged right now because for me and in my house hold XBOX360 ownes it big time) The only other four player game I have is Monkey Ball Banana Blitz which is my least favorite game on the system. So I don't see myself wanting to pay for two more Wii-motes I'ff thats whats required.

The wii version will be compatible with RB2 ;)

I got it today... amazing. Especially the tools songs

OHh Ohh Maynard! Do the drums and Mic require Wii-motes?

Yes, they do.
I think that for the drums that's a good thing, I still can't see why I have to have a wiimote for the mic as well.
Anyway, that's not such a big deal to me. I have 2 wiimotes. I had people over to play it and I asked them to bring two extra wiimotes. That shouldn't be hard for you since your friends also have the Wii.

And I'm really happy with the game, I recommend it!

I'm still thinking about it but I think I'll go with the Wii version. Even though it's a bit stupid to require a Wiimote for the mic, I think I can live with it (I have 2 Wiimotes). I don't own Guitar Hero 3 so I can't really go that way... I think I'm just going to wait because 1) the Wii version is sold out in my area and 2) I heard a few people had problems with the drum, so I'll let Activision work on that for a while.

How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...

Thats true, my friends do have Wii.  but my nephews don't.  ... thats  a 50/50 i guess, not sure if I want them playing a $200 game.

Everything needs wiimotes!!! i tried to do guitar and mic with one wiimote (because i have only two wiimotes) and i couldnt do it. i know, thats the only bad thing so far...well, with the drums, if you want to move, you need to use the stick in the drums, not the drumhead like in RB.

Still, the game is awesome. I played it for a lil bite more than 8 hours today xD

cool, thanks guys.
