While I wait for GT5 I play GT5 Prologue. While I wait for Motorstorm Pacific Rift I play Motorstorm. While I wait for Resistance 2 I play Warhawk. While I wait for LBP I play Uncharted. While I wait for whatever else I play COD4, NBA 2k8, NBA 2K9, Def Jam, Burnout, and all my other games.

There are plenty of games out for the PS3 you arrogant idiot. Not to mention all the beautiful movies you can enjoy.

Not to mention MGS4, Tools of Destruction and Resistance Fall of Man...

I don't own those games so I didn't list them, I was just trying to show that there are games to buy for the PS3 and just because some of them are also on the 360 doesn't mean there not any good on the PS3.

As Microsoft's only racing games are Forza and Project Gotham Racing (or are they just publisher for this=), you are tecnically saying that GT > Forza, a topic that has been done to death.

The biggest racing series is currently Mario Kart, and it is going to be for this generation. It has sold over 21M as of now, and in the end, it is likely to beat the sales that GT had last generation (27.3M).

Mario Kart is also likely to end with the highest sales of any racing game yet (or in other words, beat 15M as a standalone title).

But this topic isn't about Mario Kart. It's about PGR+Forza vs GT.

Sales perspective: PGR + Forza may outsell GT for this generation. That's likely.

Current situation:

PGR: 2.5M

Forza: 4.1M

GT: 2.1M

No doubt will the GT series sell big. It is likely that it will beat 10M with 5 comming out. Still, as Forza will have another game out by then, and perhaps another PGR, it is likely that Forza + PGR combined will have a higher total sales by the end of the generation than GT.

But for standalone titles, GT is likely to be king, with the best selling as 8-10M, with it being unlikely that any Forza will sell 6M.
