I have noticed a trend on this website, with news coming out about the PS3 in europe and the new games and everything. The mood agianst the PS3 has become more like... Wow... it's expensive tho. From. "The Wii kills the PS3 in every way." Now my point on that is Quit defending the PS3's power. It SURE as hell dont need help defendning it's power. The 360 is only ~50-75% the power of it. You dont need to spew BS about games and stuff. The entire market is looking and saying. "Wow." It's just a matter of time before it's there. When I went agianst the Wii. I gave legit reasons. I pointed out the PS3's high points, and the Wii's low points. The PS3 is supreme in power. The Wii... well. It's great for party games now. For price, the PS3 is the best deal if you play alot of games. The Wii comes in 2nd with GREAT party games. (present and future) Nintendo has always been the party console. Sony seems to have their eyes on it this gen, but havent tried yet with software. (eye-toy, 7 controllers, ETC) That has ALOT of potential right there. The Wii is restricted to 4 controllers. As of right now tho. The Wii wins on party games... And the foreseeable future. But WHY do you attack everything everyone says. The things you say are stupid, and make the PS3 look bad. You spew alot of links. Some of those links you sent the other day about the CELL power. It's damn near crazy. Some of them are classes written by professors on how they work. None of those bencharks, and charts compared it to what's in the 360. You havent said anything about how the 360's graphics card has 230million transistors, and how near 40million of them are DEDICATED to AA. You havent mentioned how the PS3's graphics card has about 200million transistors, runs at an approx 20% faster clock speed. That puts the PS3's graphics card around 20-40% faster. I can name the clock speed of the Cell off the top of my head. 3.2Ghz. I can tell you the diffrence from 720p to 1080p dosent make THAT big of a diffrence on a 40inch screen. I would prefer better color. (buy a better TV) I have one of the best looking 40inch LCDs out there right now for color. I promise you. Color is MUCH more important than 1080p. Why are you so agressive towards the people here?

I just want to say really quick. I pulled these numbers out of my Arse, so I'm not positive the transistor counts are 100% correct. They should be quite close to reality tho.

RSX is just over 300 million transistors. Xenos has ~230 for GPU with the EDRAM having 105mil. BTW, most of that 105mil is for the memory with only a small amount for the other circuitry. None of the transistors on the EDRAM are dedicated to AA.

seriously about those numbers? They changed them since I read them. I dont look for new hardware updates on stuff that was guessed as relativly standard. I need to look into that. What do you mean EDRAM?

This site has become another battlefield for fanboys of different confessions . For what I can see in other webs ,the forums are raging a neverending battle .The usual conflict is that the anti-Sony guys invade each and every Sony and especially PS3 news to spit some Sony-liar or too-expensive!! to finally conclude in a Sony Doomed . The PS3 forums of most websites are full of antisony guys doing viral marketing by posting all the bad news and rumors as facts ...citing always the same tech documents(most from blogs by the way ) to prove the might of the X360 and so on .Most of these are boxer fans ,some other are Nintendo fans but those seem to have tempered down a bit lately . I rarely see ,on the other way ,Sony fanboys invading the X360 or Wii forums to say crap . Finally ,so much hate has provoqued that the PS3 fans are starting to fight back and doing the same viral marketing and hype-everything related .... Problem here for PS3 fans is that their adversaries use everything to put them down .....as if the Wii360 was something real and not total BS .I mean ,the PS3 sells more than the X360 in Japan and Europe (judging for prereserves ) well then the boxers come back saying the Wii sells more ,the PS3 has a lot more muscle than the Wii then the boxers and nintendo fans claim that it hasnt so much more compared to the X360 ,PS3 games are in the line of the price of X360 ones ,well then they say the Wii ones are cheaper ,PS3 Online smokes Wii Online well then they fight back with the Live! .....they change their coat as they wish dpending on the argument and it is always to bash the PS3 . Its a shame those kind of fanboys have invaded also this site ,and now we are seeing the contrary effect with the Sony fanboys fighting back .So ,this site has evolved from a relatively calm site with well-manered members and respect among posters into the same mess of the others websites forums ....

QFT! I noticed that as well. I go to fansites of all systems and I rarely see any anti-360 or anti-wii people invade fan forums. Seriously I like to go to forums for advice and technical tips and I cannot stand when it gets bogged down by some idiotic rant.

it doesn`t matter which console is more powerful, matters only games, which use that power. On xbox360 really beutiful 720p games(Geow, LP) come only after 1 year. On ps3 in 720p you get VF5, Motorstorm and Lair. Already 3 games within half a year. :)

Well fanboyism is a well know phenomenon ,and it gets more rabid when it comes from fans of a console or company that isnt exactly in its best moment .Maybe for that the Nintendo fanboys have been the more rabid those later years and now are more calmed and the X360 fans are at full rage right now . Fitst I don't know if I am a part of the nintendo first squad that you claim attacking your PS3, but what is the problem? We are in a forum that is discussing the sales, h*ll the whole site is dedicated for sale charts. If somebody is claiming that: 1, Sony will win because the PS3 has super duper power 2, All sonys game is looking so cool that everybody will by them. 3, Wii can only do party games! Then I will answer that I think you are wrong because of price and that I at least sees good games coming up for Wii. If that is anti sony I don't know.

Besides "I" was referring to behavior across many sites not here, I find the majority of people here passionate without being obnoxious. As for your reasoning most sony fans talk about games. The history of the playstation line is undeniable. In terms of gameplay, graphics and overall funfactor the playstation line has brought steady gems. I own a wii and as far as I am concerned the best games for the wii right now consists of multiplayer type action. Raving rabbids, elebits, wii sports, wario smooth moves and the soon to come Smash bros. The only game that seems to be fun on your own is zelda. So I am not saying the Wii can "only" do party games but it excels at party games just like the 360 excels at online gameplay. But what if your the type of player that plays games by yourself? What if you get tired easily of ladder climbing, CTF's, DM's and all out skirmishes. Which console in the past has provided an amazing single player experience along with multiplayer games? The games are what "gamers" should be focused on and since I have played across the board (and still continue to do so) we can throw debates all day. I will give you "MY" opinions on games instead of some repeated opinion off of a website. I will concede when the matter comes down to issues of taste and appeal but I know for a sheer fact that people who have played all the systems would have to admit that the PS line strongest feature was its game library and the fans are excited to see how these next gen graphics are going to change the games.
