I've been reading here that a lot of people are doubting wether or not a PSP-3000 is worth it, and since IGN is recognized as a worthy reviewer site, I figured that I may post this review, they go in depth through all the new features, including of course the new screen

A far more enjoyable tactile experience.

Seems like IGN thinks that the screen is a real problem, but that the other additions are great

I've been reading bad reviews about this new screen...


Sucks because I was really looking forward to getting the 3000 for X-Mas.

I have the Original got on day 1 works great.

 

Also kind of sucks with the Audio, I was hoping they would give it a little boost.

Wow... Sony really F'd this one up bad. The major benefit of getting the 3000 was the bad ass screen and its obvious that its worse then the 2000 wich is ridiculous.

I know the Overall is not an average, but when only 1 of 6 scores are below your overall (and only by .5), and 4 of the 6 are more then a point above it...

That makes no sense.

umm.... frankly IGN is not qualified to review hardware imho.

I dunno, one of the scores is value, other is features, we all know the PSP is a great machine with a lot of features packed in, be it 1000, 2000 or 3000, they say that the PSP is still a great machine but that the upgrade wasn't as good as it could, I think the score is fair (of course, only if the screen problem is as big as they say)
