If they make $3B in profit, what should the stock be worth (theoretically, comparing it to other companies in the same profit range with stable stock prices)?

$3 billion is about how much Google made in 2006.

Hey Fishy, how is that you invest on Nintendo stock if you are on the US? You do it via Internet?

It seems like a very interesting thing to do, how much money you think I would need to get started?

I'm using E-trade, although just about any broker should be adequate. You could have a couple hundred bucks and get started. A great way to start would be to open a Roth IRA. Never too early to start saving for retirement!

Grrr, I can't seem to find an internet broker that accepts accounts in Mexico... and I doubt we have a local internet broker... I think there was some info on some business mag I have, I check it right now.

Sorry, can't help you there. Don't know too much about the Mexican system.

I don't think there is an age limit. Like I said before, a Roth IRA would be a great way to start. It should be pretty easy to open an account as long as you have a bank account to transfer money from.

Yes, I've found that TD Ameritrade accepts international accounts. Good thing I have my own bank account ;)

I personally use Scottrade and like it a lot. My brothers and my dad switched over from their respective accounts, and I don't think they've had any problems...$7 online stock trades. I dunno about Mexico they seem to do stuff in Chinese....don't think that really helps.

OH! I think it usually starts around $500 US to open an account (at least at scottrade). Can't do a lot of trading with that amount but it is a start. You get about 3% interest on your liquid cash in a standard account.

(Sorry, not really meaning to pimp Scottrade, just the company I know)
