(why do people keep going on about the ps3 version of oblivion looking better when after coming out a year after it really should plus after the patch was realsed didnt the 360 version look just as good but load screens still slower)

I hope not! But I guess it makes sense, the PC was the primary development system most likely and then it was ported to the Xbox 360 and ported again to PS3 or was that straight from the PC as well?

So either a port of a port or a port off the PC. Two scenarios which don't bode well for the PS3 architecture.

I am sure both the 360 and PS3 versions pale in comparison the graphics in the PC version. That is pretty much the case of most cross-platform games.

I have the magazine, and they didn't mention that.

You are correct Squilliam.  This article is a fake.  The PS3 version runs "beautifully" according to ign.

I've seen a scan of the magazine on another forum and it does indeed say the PS3 version isn't quite up to the standard of the 360 version. I'll just get F 3 on the 360 and Far Cry 2 on the PS3.

It's in PSM3, a french magazine for PS3, but indepedant (it's not the french playstation official magazine).

I'am french, so i will buy it tonight and see where's the truth :)

I already know the Xbox 360 version experiences slowdowns first hand. So its likely the same will apply to the PS3.

The real question is the extent!
