Forums - Sony Discussion - Did anyone get PSP 3000 to do 480i?

Just wondering if anyone got this?

Im going to Cuba in a week and need something to play while there. I doubt Cuba has HDTVs so I need 480i. I was told PSP 3000 does 480i but I just want to be sure before I buy it.  How do the cables plug in? If its through the audio jack, will my ipod/zune cable work? If not, where can one get these PSP composite cables?

So many questions...

Any help is appreciated.

anything with composite (red white yellow)
will work on cuban NTSC Tvs.

You need Sony's composite cables. It will work if you have that.

Isn't a DS more suitable for you?
PSP battery doesn't even long more than 3 or 4 hours!

So PSP 3000 - 200 bucks
8 gig memory card - 60 bucks
cables - 20/30 bucks
3-4 games - ~ 60 bucks
+ tax

Dang! Thank the lord cuba is cheap. :)

@321tttrini4everz

Im going to a 4 star resort and I really doubt they will have HDTVs in my room. Hell, the Delta Hotel in Montreal (one of the better ones there) doesn't have HDTVs in rooms.

@SpartanFX

God of war for sure, im buying that. The other 2...err...no comment :)
