The same way the PS2 did. Though some don't end up well.

Are you saying that every "innovative" game that was made for the PS2 ended well?

OT:

That's a good observation, the Retro Studios one was the best!

Not at all. Though it seems you didn't take your time into reading my post.

Then you meant that some didn't end well right?

Fail...Nice, but not good enough.

EDIT: So your saying all Wii titles ended well?

You see why this gets nowhere.

What are you talking about? I just got confused because i didn't know if you were talking about the PS2 or the Wii games, that's all.

You were trying to act smart.

WTF? I wanted to know what the hell did you mean, it's not the same if you say "The same way the PS2 did. Though some don't end up well." than if you say "The same way the PS2 did. Though some didn't end up well." In the first one you sound like if you were talking about the Wii games and in the second you sound like if you were talking about the PS2 games!

Remember when I did some editing?

You said, "What are you talking about?"

I just wanted to know what you "meant."

That's actually true. If you say don't, then you are talking about things that haven't come out yet. Didn't is past tense, which infers you are talking about something in the past, such as the PS2.

I didn't quite follow the bold. Please continue...Or is the red future tense?

Becasue they don't need too much money to develop on the Wii. To develop for the hd consoles they require more money and if it doesen't sell good then small developers will have a harder time. For the Wii they have lesser risks and they can do whatever they want. With all their innovation and what not.

Tag (Courtesy of Fkusumot) "If I'm posting in this thread then it's probally a spam thread."

Developing big succesful HD game costs ridicilous sums of money, therefore smaller (yet ambitious) studios will concentrate to bring their games into the Wii. SUDA 51 being a great example, even when NMH was only a moderate success they still made a healthy profit.

I think that many of these developers have (probably) pitched game ideas like these to publishers before but, at the time, they were determined to be too risky. This generation, the high development costs on the HD consoles compared to releasing similar games for the Wii, has changed how people see the risk of games like these.

In order to explain what I mean, producing a game like The Conduit or De Blob for the Wii (probably) costs about the same as producing a Sponge-Bob game for the HD consoles; even if you sell the same number of copies for each game, being that the Sponge-Bob game would have IP licencing and you (might) develop a valueable IP with De Blob or The Conduit, it makes more sense to put money towards the Wii games.

Why the hell are you making this more complicated, could please say if you were talking about the PS2 games or the Wii games and finish this stupid and useless discussion?
