I don't think people would be bothered by that 100 dollar difference honestly. I think more people would be frustrated by the fact that its merely a diversion to liquidate the older model PS3 for the new 80gb version.

I see his point. He's right. The PS3 only came out a few months ago in Europe, anyone who's already bought one will feel like suckers.

They need to wait until the holidays, unless they start doing really poorly.

When you're losing an industry race, you don't pander to the people who've already invested in your product, you make an effort to grab more consumers. To claim they won't drop the price because it would "annoy" the people who already bought one is proof they don't have a damn clue what they're doing.

Roadkillers and Ckmlb can both be considered Sony fanboys given the sides and fights they choose on this forum, but they are also clamn and reasonable debaters and as mods never negate their responsibilies. I suppose you would give free liscence to any Sony troll who would want to claim mods like BenKenobi are Nintendo fanboys too.

Unless fanboy means "someone who likes a specific system," then obviously most of us are fanboys, as most of us have preferences. I'd love to have little big planet on the Wii! That's the system I own, and I'd like to play that game. Does that... make me a fanboy? I don't think so.

Roadkillers is reasonably objective (none of us can be completely so, didn't philosophy class teach us anything?) and always kind. That's the best type of poster, in my opinion.
