I'm glad you make a point of reading my threads, commenting on them, thus bumping it to the top so more people will read it.

trolling because you bring the thread off topic, do nothing but complain about it, and try to inflame people into responding to you.

This thread like all others is an avenue for discussion. People were discussing how price cuts effect consumers until you came in here and started trolling. Therefore, the thread was adding to the forum and you attempted to derail it. You are clearly following the very definition of trolling.

If you want to wear rose tinted glasses and pretend Sony is perfect then go join the PS3forums. If you are here expect to hear from all sides. That includes news that may put Sony in a bad light. We're not all here to talk about how great Sony is, we're here to discuss topics based on recent news and sales figures. If you want to complain about the forums may I recommend "Website Discussion" rather than trolling the Sony Discussion forum?

I love this product, i love sony products one higher up saying something stupid, while fun for you guys to circle jerk to, doesnt change that....i just get sick of this place being a circle jerk for every little freaking thing that someone from sony does, you guys have such a tiny microscope for these things......it gets tiresome, it really does.

And yeah, i know if i dont wanna read it dont click on it, but its about the principle and continuity of the forums here when certain people ONLY contribute this diatribe they should be warned if not banned......This guys quote is insignificant to anything other than a 6 year old point and laugh (queue nelson laugh) haha, going by the rule book is one thing, but when posteres have a histroy of posting nothing but this crap and keep playing dumb behind "its sony forum so sony stuff is okay" and not contributing in ANY othe rpositive way, i think we as adults (or mature teens) should be able to see through it and the mods should act accordingly, yes its on topic for the forum and yes we know exactly what teh intent was, it makes me frustrated when the posters play stupid and the mods follow suit liek they dont know what these guys are trying to do.

I just hope we can get a PS3 or Sony mod to counter all of the nintendo mods that border trolling on this forum (not here other threads), I find good news here and I like what some posters have to offer (mrstick and his predictions to go along with his no nonsense modding of ANYTHING close to anti 360), its a shame this place is the laughing stock of the videogame forum community , maybe i should just accept it and ghost from now on if its too far gone.

Its a very dangerous thing to set a precedent for near-immediate price cuts. It would discourage people from buying consoles so early in the future.

And it WOULD piss off early adopters. Doesn't anybody remember when MS cut the XBox's price in Europe 5 or 6 weeks after launch, due to slow sales and PS2 price drops? They gave away games and accessories to the early adopters to dodge bad press.

Of course, this doesn't change the fact that PS3 needs a price cut in Europe...

So lemme get this straight Fishyjoe you didn't understand that he meant it would piss off early adopters or are you just pretending to be outraged at the insane comment that people would be pissed off about a price drop 4 months after launch?

there are 400 million people in Europe, there are probably 4-5 million that would be happy to see it drop to $499 euros. While less than a million that would be annoyed, and they are early adopter knew it was coming anyway.
