Exactly, L4Dead is going to be a lot bigger than most would like to think, and Banjo with the sub 200 dollar 360 might end up being a leathal combination for the casual gamer if advertised right.

Hmm okay, this is kinda interesting.

All Wii predictions are in 44.4-45.6M for lifetime sales at end of 2008

X360 are from 25.8M to 26.2M

Ps3 are from 20.7M to 21.4M

If you take the average of this, the expected market share will be

Wii: 48.8%

X360: 28.2%

Ps3: 22.9%

For a comparison, the poll on the home page suggests somewhere around this:

Wii: 41M - 48.2%

X360: 24M - 28.2%

Ps3: 20M - 23.5%

So, despite all the bashing of that poll, those people end up with about the same result (relatively to each other), as some of the VGC "elite" predictors do.

If you look here though, http://www.vgchartz.com/predictions/results.php?game=154, the average prediction says that all the consoles will have negative sales of 20 million or more.

yea.... Starting that round discoverd a problem. The hardware is capped at 1m units. So once I get this problem resolved, I will resubmit everyone's predictions. I'll be sending pm's out once the problem is solved.

I will add Left 4 dead and Banjo..... GTAIV DLC won't make any difference to weekly sales.

I don't know what TLR is though.

@Oyv. There is the fact that for all three people were voting too low.

Also about the prediction league... I PMed nordlead about it, ioi put a cap onto the voting of 1,000,000 for the consoles to help stop people messing up the averages, but obviously it isn't wanted for this one, so as it is almost everyone has voted only 1 million, with a couple of people getting it wrong and voting for what the weekly sales will be.

The Last Remnant exclusively for the 360 for now. Also how about Prince of Persia, Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe??

Surprised everyone has all three consoles so very close (i.e. everyones estimates are pretty close, per console).

I think the Wii figures are very overestimated - maybe closer to 9-9.5m.
PS3 figures will be closer to last year - around 4-4.5m.
360 should be the big winner - esp in the US - maybe 4.5m - 5m.

Going to be an interesting battle between the 360 & PS3 - PS3 won by a "smidge" last year (1 week) - 360 might end up on top this year (US anyway).
