Whichever suits you...
The Dual Shock 3 is heavier, more expensive and includes vibration
The Sixaxis is lighter, cheaper and excludes vibration.

I personally prefer the original Sixaxis, but I think I'll get a DS3 at some point.

get a wiimote

I honestly can't tell the difference between the two controllers and the DS3 is going to be better in the long run.

Get the DS3, the six-axis build quality is crap and really disappointed me, after having 10+ years of playstation without a single fault or break down, for my sixaxis controllers to have such spongey R2's and L2's and a analog stick that clicks when rotated, that pisses me off.

So yeah, go DS3. Six-axis is too light anyway.
