If so, I've been wondering...

about a day or two after De Blob released, I found a copy of it at The Beat Goes On for 20 bucks cheaper. I obviously assumed it was used, since that's the whole point of the store. But at the counter, the girl said "this one has been a big seller today"... And I was left wondering, how many copies could show up at a used game store one day after it was released? And why would anyone buy the game and then sell the game for so much less when they could just rent it for cheaper. So here's my question. Does The Beat Goes On secure games through any other channels? Did they actually have several copies available for the games launch? Or was it just some bizarre circumstance where 3 or more people bought a game only to sell it to the same store later that day?

I know there's probably no one who can answer this but hey... Gotta try.

While's theres none over here down at edmonton. I have heard stories of people buying games just to sell it later to a pawn shop (Like Cash Canada). I myself done it several times to very low rated games that I for reasons unknown have bought, most recently infinite undiscovery.

It happening more than once is a rarity, however I do believe it is somewhat possible. Even if the numbers are astronomical, they gotta happen every so often.

I'm not familiar with that store, but I know a couple of stores that are essentially second hand game stores but they still get a small selection of new releases too.
