I would have to concur with my distinguished forum members. This is not healthy expression this is almost a hyperactive call for help. The author is coming across as being high strung, and liable to snap if the game does become ported. Notice I am saying coming across, and not saying that the poster is high strung.

Smashed you probably need to step away from this issue. You are neither having fun or engaging in spirited debate. Your engaging in a myopic rant. Kojima can change his mind, and Konami can change its mind. They can do whatever they want with their property. Whether it meets your needs or goes against any prior statements they made.

Most people thinking rationally would understand a promise not in writing is worth the paper it is written on. Which is basically nothing at all. What could the world do to them after all. What your going to scream at a judge that Konami making an about face is fraudulent. That it hurts you, because it may damage PS3 sales. I suppose you could try you would find yourself in a rubbed padded room shortly.

Human beings can lie and mislead you, but if you were only sold on this game explicitly due to exclusivity. I do not know what to say you should buy games, because they are good. Not because it serves the ulterior motive of platform support.

it wouldn't matter to me if:

1. The console wasn't MS's. (that can be overlooked)

2. The hardware could be easily replaced here.

3. If I had XBL here.

Eww, i'd never come close to buying an xbox. The sad part is, after a company releases an "Exclusive" to a console, it's good to know that you can only play it on the console your playing, but when they come out and say it's possibly going to another console, an exclusive game going to another console... That's disloyalty, and if they wanted to make it multiplat they should have said it before they released the game, if this game goes on the 360, thats just complete disloyalty to Sony and the Playstation fans.

Edit: Im not only saying this about Konami, all the other ones.. For all the different consoles, it's just wrong.

Like i said...if you really like the game, you will play it no matter the console. If you still have it in your console but you have to share, you wouldnt even care, because you STILL have it. And if there no live where you live, i dont think it would be a problem that some of your ps2 shit went to the X360, because ps2 didnt even have a great online, so i dont think you played those game online. Stop being a baby and enjoy your games.

The real Metal Gear fans will never follow this. If you ask me, I mostly bought a PS3 for MGS 4, and that's only because I felt like I needed the hardware to play the game! I've enjoyed Twin Snakes, Metal Gear on NES and Metal Gear Solid 1 through 3 on the PSX, but with that said, Snake is not a Sony IP.

Wrong, that's call business. Like it or not, companies are not about being loyal to fans. They are about money. Stop being such a fanboy and stop with the nonsense. Companies wont give a shit if they have one game in one console and have to move it to another one because they just want to "survive". If they have the need to move a game to another console because they need the money, they will simply do it. Just remember RE4. It happens more than you think, especially if you have been following this business since the beginning.
