Hey not to rag on PC's but you could get yourself a console 360 or PS3 and play every one of those games except for crysis at great quality for a Fraction of the cost

and guess what? PC games are better then console games. So in the end he would be losing out on great games.

Looks good. I have a similar setup with a better processor, but a worse video card. The only one of those games I've played is Bioshock. I'm able to run it on max settings with very little slowdown.

After viewing your fixed links, go with my revisions on your build if you can afford it. My build will increase your gaming ability by at least 20% over the rig you currently have psoted due to better ram and processor.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

BioShock and The Orange Box are the bestgames on that list by miles, the others don't even compare, at the same time they are 10 times better than their console versions.

 

OT: I'll parrto what everyone has been saying, a little more ram, especially if you decide to run Vista.

try a different motherboard aswell, one with sli or crossfire. It will be better for you in the long run but being as you are getting a nvidia graphics card get a motherboard with sli
